Easter Egg And Bunny Wreath

This Easter Egg and Bunny Wreath I made is a great example of something anyone can make because it's so simple and inexpensive to do. I bought flowers and Easter picks on sale at Michael's a rattan wreath at the Dollar Tree. These wreaths are so easy and inexpensive to make that you can use this tutorial to make wreaths for different holidays to hang on your front door or inside your home.

You will need:
-Rattan Wreath (any size, but mine is a 12 inch wreath)
-Spray paint
-Floral swag with flowers
-2 egg floral picks
-1 rabbit floral pick
-Hot glue gun and glue sticks
-Design It:® Paddle Wire from FloraCraft
-Design It:® Wire Cutter from FloraCraft
-Scissors
-1 1/2 inch wide wire edge ribbon

1. Spray paint your wreath with your color choice of spray paint and let paint dry. I used the Blue Ocean Breeze color from Krylon.

As Purchased Before Painting.

After Painting.

2. Cut a floral swag to the size needed for your wreath. However much of the wreath to cover is up to you. I covered a little less than 3/4 of my wreath, leaving some of the painted area exposed. Glue or wire swag into place.

3. Using the wire cutters, clip egg and rabbit picks to size and place them on the bottom center of the wreath. Glue to secure.

4. Make a bow for the wreath. I use wire edge ribbon for wreaths because it maintains it's shape, but any kind of ribbon you want to use is fine.

5. Glue bow near the egg and rabbit picks. Then make a hanger for the wreath using floral wire. Insert the wire into one of the vines on the wreath, then twist the ends. Now the wreath is ready to hang.

If you like this tutorial, you may enjoy my other Easter projects!

**Thank you Floracraft for the wire and wire cutter for this project.**

You sure made me want to create a Easter arrangement after your last post. I have my list made to take to Michaels. Maybe I will make a wreath to match! Love yours!

Hi Shannon. That really is pretty and looks easy enough to follow. I think I will try it. The colors are just right. I see you made a shamrock one too, which I didn't see yet, so I'll check it out. Thanks so much for your kind comments to Mabel. She really appreciates them but she came home with a bit of an attitude and says she is shedding her apron for next year. Well, we shall see about that Missy!!..Happy Tuesday..Judy
